Three proposed plans, designed for businesses at different stages. Start small. Build with confidence.
Essential protection for your everyday hustle.
A bigger safety net for a growing business.
Higher proposed limits for what you’ve built.
Proposed benefits and indicative pricing. These are product concepts, not a quote or offer of insurance. Premiums, eligibility, insured events, limits, excesses, waiting periods and exclusions are subject to underwriting partner approval and final policy wording. Stock cover is not included in these proposed plans.

Insurance should make sense. Here’s what to know about what we’re building.
Not yet. This website is a pre-launch preview while we finalise our insurance licensing and underwriting partnership. No insurance is sold or activated through this site.
Township and informal business owners across South Africa — including spaza shops, salons, market traders and other micro businesses. Final eligibility will be confirmed at launch.
Our proposed plans focus on property damage and business interruption, with money on premises included in the Growth and Premium concepts. Final insured events, limits, excesses and exclusions will be set out in the approved policy wording. Stock cover is not included.
Vimba is developing the customer experience and distribution platform. Cover is intended to be provided through a licensed insurance partner. We’ll identify the insurer and publish the relevant regulatory disclosures once the arrangements are finalised.
The planned process starts on WhatsApp: share photos or video where relevant, answer a few questions, and submit your claim for assessment. Our ambition is a fast, straightforward experience. Required documents and turnaround times will depend on the final policy and claims process; payment is not guaranteed within a fixed time.
Our planned experience is WhatsApp-first, so you won’t need a separate Vimba app. Final onboarding and identity checks will be confirmed before launch.
No. R75, R120 and R150 per month are indicative product concepts. Final pricing and benefits are subject to underwriting approval and will be clearly explained before you apply.
